Short, because there is not much to it. Using this site or the client portal means you accept these.
The portal
The client portal is a tool for scoping and planning a website with me. Creating an account or filling in a brief does not start a project, commit either of us to anything, or create a contract. Any actual work is agreed separately, in writing, with its own price and scope.
Your content
Anything you upload or type into the brief stays yours. You confirm you have the right to share it, including logos, photos and customer quotes. I use it only to plan and build your website.
Domains
The portal checks whether a domain name looks available. That is a lookup, not a reservation: nothing is registered until we agree to it and I confirm the price with you.
Accounts
Keep your sign-in to yourself. I may close accounts that are abusive, fraudulent or clearly not connected to a real project.
No guarantees
The site and portal are provided as they are. I keep them running and backed up in good faith, but I am not liable for losses arising from their use or unavailability.
